each piece from the hephaistos line is distinguished by its craftsmanship, which emphasizes the natural beauty of the stones and the metalwork. many of the pieces have that indescribable quality that identifies them as artisan-made jewelry, a hand-made signature that machine-reproduced jewelry cannot duplicate. although these pieces are crafted from precious gems and high carat gold, they are nevertheless intended to be worn, rather than exhibited. extended wear will only increase the luster of the metal.

we source our conflict-free stones from ethical gemstone dealers. all the gemstones on this website are entirely natural, untreated and unenhanced, with the sole exception of our black diamonds which undergo heat treatment as an industry standard.

when possible, pieces are made from recycled 22kt gold.

hephaistos is designed and made in new york by a team of one. since each piece is custom made by hand, please expect 3-4 weeks for delivery

great care is taken with each custom made piece at hephaistos, but we want you to be happy with your order. if you are not entirely satisfied, please ship the piece, properly packed and insured, to us for store credit.
